Digital Chaos Gaming originated as a game section under the clan Warrior Nation (WNR/WNx).  The game was a revolutionary new First Person Shooter called Viet Cong (VC) published by Pterodon.  With only a demo for VC out at the time WNxGezus (now retired) began recruiting.  One of the first recruits was a person that would become infamous in the VC community and influence the direction and future of the group that would become Digital Chaos Gaming.  Phantom Punisher.

By the time VC was released on March 26, 2003, WNR had picked up a dedicated core group and was beginning to take shape while most clans were just beginning to gather. Around this time a big production was put in place by WNxWakko (warrior Nations Leader). In her grand final announcement of leaving Warrior Nation (To this day She has never left) She commanded us all to change our tags from [WNR] to the now WNx.

Many of our early members were recruited by BigBoomBob.  Whether it was luck or skill, Bob seemed to have the knack to recruit members that were not only skilled but would remain members many years.  As a testiment to this, many of the core members are still around today.

TWL was our first ladder experience in VC. Time spent there was not wasted. Several members became battle hardened and we became directly focused on our match performance while practicing. Due to very little admin involvement the ladder folded after only a few months. During our time there we were only defeated in battle once by TWL's top rated -A- and gave {ThC} a no show win. We rechallenged {ThC} and defeated them and while we had a challenge pending to -A- when left the ladder stating they weren’t having fun anymore. We left TWL about a week before it shut down. Our rank was 5-2 and #1 on the ladder.  With the VC ladder community homeless for a few weeks clans began to petition ladders to host a league and we found a home on Nato-ladder.

Nearing the end of 2003, the Warrior Nation site fell victim to numerous attacks by hackers.  With the main site and forums wiped out turmoil and drama began to unfold in the ranks of WNx, but our section remained strong.  It was at that time we decided to step out into the world of gaming under a new name.  So in the fall of 2003 our entire gaming section resigned from Warrior Nation and and formed Hippie Killers. Under our new name we soared to the top of nato-ladder for Viet Cong.  At our peak we were 11-1 with no real contenders to speak of.

With breif stints in Call of Duty and Battlefield 2 our next big venture into gaming became Americas Army.
